Dear Beloved Shining Star, Family, Grace and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ! As we rejoice in celebrating the 105th anniversary of this cherished and blessed ministry my heart overflows with gratitude and joy. This milestone is not just a testament to the longevity of our church but a reflection of God's unwavering faithfulness and the dedication of each member of this faith community from its conception to this present moment. Over the years, we have faced challenges and triumphs, weathered storms, withstood the attacks of the enemy and basked in blessings. Through it all, we have remained steadfast in our mission to serve God, uplift one another, and extend our hands to those in need. Our journey together has been marked by countless acts of love, grace, and kindness all of which have woven the beautiful tapestry that is our church family. As we reflect on the past 105 years, let us remember the many saints who have gone before us, laying the foundation upon which we stand today. Their sacrifices, prayers, and unwavering faith have paved the way for us to continue the work of Christ in our community and in our world. We honor their legacy by carrying forward the torch of faith, hope, and love. In this season of celebration, let us also look to the future with renewed hope and determination. There is still much work to be done, and I am confident that, with God's guidance and your continued dedication and hard work, we will continue to make a profound impact in the lives of those we serve. Let us embrace the opportunities that lie ahead, trusting that God will equip us with the strength and wisdom needed to fulfill our calling. I am deeply grateful for each one of you. Your faithfulness, generosity, and unwavering support have been a source of inspiration and encouragement to me and to one another. I am as well grateful that God has allowed me to be a part of this great ministry and serve as your Pastor for the past ten years. What a honor and blessing have been bestowed upon me. Youth: 2 - 12 Teens: 13 - 17 Young Adults: 18 - 27 GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: To develop in our youth a biblical worldview that will embolden them to live lives worthy of who they say they are. To be faithful to God's call to disciple our youth in order that they might live with power and walk in victory. To encourage, build up, and come along side our youth to aid them in embracing who they are in Christ so that they may experience the abundant life Christ offers. To assist our youth in finding meaning and satisfaction in life as they develop an attitude of servanthood through serving their fellow man. To stress the importance of loving God and one another as members of the Christian community understanding their responsibility to one another and being accountable to one another. To come alongside the parents/care givers in teaching the necessary disciplines that will cause our youth to excel academically, socially, mentally and spiritually. To assure our youth are well equipped and trained to recognize the enemy's attempts to destroy them. To instill within our youth a sense of pride in who they are in Christ. To assure that our children understand their greatness and maximize their potential. To assure our youth understand and embrace their IDENTITY .
